Keeping It Simple: Starbucks Sleeves

A good long while back
at the local Starbucks
I was having a warm beverage.
When done I realized the usefulness
of the cardboard sleeve
that was around my used up cup.
So I snagged it.

Upon the walls at this local Starbucks
were illustrations of trees
so I grabbed a ball point pen
out of my bag
and sketched it out on the sleeve.
Once home I applied a little gold leaf
in various tones
to the sleeve.
The end result
