Fetch...

Dachshunds are wonderful dogs!
However, I cannot imagine taking
this many out for a stroll
especially since I know
their temperament...

This really is the temperament of
the 2 dachshunds
I live with!

Dog Days of Summer

My dog is not amused with me
taking pictures!

They would rather nap happily despite
the hot temperatures outside!

So I decided to have a virtual
dress up party with them...

My dogs are still not amused with me!
LOL

Snow Finally!!!

Our roof top patio
 getting a wonderful dusting
of lovely snow! 

Of course the doggies
have to go out in the
cold, wet snow too!

Another doggy
running out in the snow too!

Ohhhh I'm so loving
this snow storm!

But even though
it's allot of snow
right now...

It will probably be gone in the morning,
sadly.

Working at my art table
while it's snowing outside!

While the girls sit next to me
and snuggle with each other
to warm up
from their snow adventure.

A Quiet Day

On quiet days
I think my dogs
communicate more than I do.

On quiet days I sit at my desk and daydream.

On quiet days
I imagine making a better
dog sweater than the one before.

On quiet days
my dog watches me allot,
worried I'll make her another
'gone wrong' free form sweater!
Here she is wearing TWO
'gone wrong' crocheted sweaters.
Maybe tomorrow I'll create a better
sweater for her.
But for now...
I'll just sit quietly
and think about it.
