Summertime Projects

I stitched this up and then wasn't certain what to do with it.
I hung it in the window to dry, after hand-washing. I rather like it here too!
It all started with this little wiener dog stitching...
Then I crocheted a wee 100% cotton diaper bag blanket.
A closer look. Just for stroller or car seat.
My summer reading has picked up quite a bit lately!

I'm not certain what I'm going to do with these now.
I may use them in a scrap quilt I'm sorta thinking about making!

Sock Pals

I've enjoyed making sock pals.
They are simple enough and easy to construct from discarded socks and sewing scraps.
I love this little fellows nose!

Pink Heart!

Recently I was rooting through my clothes and realised I had a brand new zipper sweat shirt from my old place of employment! Being that's it's brand new I didn't want to toss it out!  However, the schools logo was on it, and I didn't want to wear it with that.  So I decided to cover it. This is what I decided to do!!!

Make Something colourful Everyday!

One of my goals for 2011 is to make something colourful everyday!
I've started the new year out with a few small projects.
I'm hopeful that by the end of this year, I'll have made over 365 items.

Now I'm not sure I'll be able to upload pictures everyday, I shall try, going forward.
I will also try and make a tutorial every couple of weeks and upload to this site and link to my
YouTube page.
As for now, here are a few pictures of the items I've made since the first of the new year:

Felted Hot Pink Heart

Looked everywhere for
a folksie heart necklace,
but just couldn't find one.
So with wee scrap of felt and a few glass
beads I made one myself.

Oh, this is me 'modeling' my softie heart.
