Tea Pot Warmers

I struggle with keeping my teapot warm...

I had to choose between these to warming devices

The warmer needs just one tea light candle to keep a medium size teapot warm

and then I found this larger electric candle warming hot plate

SO, I gave it a go...

Sadly, after the pot of tea is all gone,
so too will be this method of attempting to keep my teapots warm.
The warming plate just doesn't work as well
as the tea light candle method.

Muffins and Dumplings

Tea time treat
a few hours before
I start dinner...

It's whats for dinner
fresh chicken, celery & carrots...

I added some dough...

Dumplings...

I removed dumplings
and
thickened the chicken stock
Dinner was healthy and tasty!

A Day of Sketching and Tea Time

Hi Friends
I was very motivated to
sketch today...

I'm still working on this one...

And then I was inspired to start this one too...

I decided to have a cuppa and snack...

and then I wanted to make
pumpkin bread...

And I started dinner
homemade beef stew...

homemade biscuits

I wasn't really happy with this one...

just not my fav.
But I'm very happy for all the other
things I was able to complete today!

Colder Days

I've started a few new teapot cozies.

This is the view of downtown Richmond, VA
as seen through my loft window.
With the change in season, the leaves will all drop from the
trees and the view will be clearer until springtime.

One draw back about putting out decorations early,
the treats vanish before the tricksters show up at the door!

With the weather turning cooler
I found tea time especially soothing.
Yes, this naked teapot needs a cozy!

My wee Grandson is sporting the hat & blanket I crocheted him
in addition to wearing his new outfit I just sent him.
Warm and cozy!
