Crocheting a Headband

I made this headband awhile back.
I didn't have a pattern for it, just sorta
did a 'shoot from the hip' sorta
thing.

However, I found a few other crocheters who
have really cute patterns
on their blog/youtube channel I
wanted to share with you.

I saw this really cute headband over on
The Batter's Box blog
Just click above link to see the free pattern/instructions for this.

For another free pattern
that's really cute
click this link for a free tutorial/video
over on Malika Godt's YouTube channel.
Have fun crocheting!

Wee Minion Crochet Beanie

I saw this beanie tutorial over at
Chucksforchancho's Blog
It was featured on a blog share
via post from

She has several other great minion crochet projects,
pattern links and ideas posted in her blog.
I can't wait to make one of these beanies
for my grandson.
Now I just need to locate my
bright yellow yarn...

Knitted Headband

I was motivated to knit this
headband
because my daughter
liked a few
similar looking ones
over on Pinterest.com.

I wasn't certain how to make this at first
so I clicked over on Youtube
to see if there were any video tutorials.
And there was @
iKnit
What I really appreciated was that Christine Rosen
(the blogger/youtube video knitter)
created a print out pattern for the project too!
The pattern can be found under the video box, which will link you to it.

Christine's pattern works perfect too!
I made a mistake (myself) but will be able to cover it with
the flowers I crocheted, which a pattern
is also available
on her site, with the headband pattern.
iKnit's Blog Site
Has lots of other useful, fun tutorials
and patterns.
She really enjoys sharing her joy of knitting!

Blog Share Crochet Heart Tutorial

This cute little crochet heart is rather easy to make.
For Pattern and Tutorial
I will show my work up until the end of the centre...

You start with chaining 6...

Slip Stitch to make circle
and
chain 5.

The chain five serves as the first double crochet
and chain 2
just like when making
a Granny Square.
Double crochet three times
then
chain 2 for corner

until you've formed a square
with 12 double crochet spokes
and 4, chain 2 corners.

Slip stitch and then chain 3.
In corner work 1 double crochet, chain 2, 2 double crochet.

Now at this point I'm going to refer you over to
My Rose Valley Blog
Where Annette's original
tutorial will take you
step-by-step
to completion.

Just like a granny square.

Here I triple crocheted 11 times in the same space,
to make the first curve of the heart...

All done.
