Curious & Curiouser

I love this rubber stamp.
Here in this picture
I was preparing to do a little masking
 & making a small
tutorial on 'how-to'.

The hat reminds me
 of the
children's book character
 'Madeline'
whom
 I adored
 along with
 'Curious George'
and the man in the big yellow hat.

I love stories of curios characters
and hats!

Making a Simple Fleece Hat Pattern

I have this great black fleece hat
that fits perfect, but
I want one in white too!

So I've created a pattern
using the original hat.

I use recycled cereal box for sturdy pattern.

Cut out...

Transfer to fleece.

It's too late, so I'll sew it tomorrow!

Or maybe the next day...

This gentleman gave a wonder presentation on straw hat making from the Victorian era. He had antique hats on display too that were lovely!
