A Mother's Love

My son was sworn in today.
A very proud moment to witness.

And then the bittersweet moment
when I had to say good-bye
to him.
On their way to bootcamp now.

Quiet Moments

My son will leave
for military training tomorrow
so today
we had time 
to spend a few hours
in each others company.
I'm very blessed.

Cosy Coupe Love

Wee man likes his gift
from Nana & Mr. Nana

While he was visiting me
I had found a used cosy coupe for
him to play in.
However, once he returned home
he didn't have a car, so
we bought a new one
and had it shipped to him and his Mum

My daughter had to build it for him
(with some help from friends)
wee man was surprised to find it
Christmas morning by the tree!

As it should be!

and was introduced to this

And I discovered that I love
brussel sprouts now!

we returned to our hotel
and settled in for the night…

it caught on fire!
Yes, truly it did
and we had to find new lodging
because our room was full of smoke
from the fire that began in
 the ground floor electrical room!
