Bowls, bowls and more bowls!
What started out as an idea has bloomed into
a full blown three cycled project.
I started crocheting bowls to house my one of a kind
charmed bracelets. After showing these bowls to co-workers,
I was asked to make several for their personal use.
Well, then I get the hair brained idea to make a set of colourful
bowls to use in my classroom. And so, here they are!
In addition, I wanted to use up all the 'craft' yarn I'd been keeping stored.
This way it's put to good use. Following the 'reggio' classroom set up. Where using natural
fibers and soft 'home like' items in each centre creates an inviting
place for my students to enjoy. It also gives me good reason to crochet for fun!
Then I found a pattern online, for a crocheted heart!
Well, I've made many hearts now!
My favorite are the ones using my 1.7 crochet hook and DMC floss!
I'm planning on painting this weekend. Till then I hope to finish all the bowls for my
classroom and make a few valentine necklaces and bracelets, with my wee hearts!
