Pre-Gobble Day Baking

Nothing is more grand than a warm kitchen on a chilly day.
I decided to bake ginger snap cookies today as well as make a slow cooker beef stew. The house smells wonderful. This is my little comfort foods day, before the big baking of tomorrow's Gobble, Gobble Day.

New Path...

Happy to have been able to provide for my kids for the last ten years...that chapter of my life is over!
The flat we shared for the last ten plus years, is no more!
We have moved out.
One of my kids is now living in Chicago...the other in San Diego with me (temporarily).
What the future holds is unknown. However, one thing is for certain...it's all about me now.
My passions, my hopes and my dreams.
I am happy too!
Despite some of the unexpected turn of events in recent days, I'm happy.
More surprisingly, I'm hopeful!
