Graffiti Girl Heart Art Designs

Back at my desk
sketching out a few
little things...

Heart Art
for a friend of mine

Doodling with coloured
pens & pencils

I collect a few things
around my computer
that make me smile
and...

inspire my colour choices

I think I've never really
grown up
deep inside
I love toys too much!

Art, Crochet and a little Knitting

I made a little ATC drawing
for a friend of mine.

And decorated the card.

And packaged up the ATC in this cellophane pocket.

The knitted scarf is done now.

I decided to whip up a pair of
fingerless crocheted gloves to match.
Using single crochet and slip stitches only.

Once I seamed up the sides,
I used a cardboard cracket
box for paper hands to
hold up the gloves.

Now it's all ready for wrapping and putting in
the box to be mailed!

An Artful Sorta Day

Watercolour pencils

A simple drawing and water pencils

I sorta like this one!
When 'Stuff' frustrates me...
'Stuff' gets choked!
Christmas is rapidly approaching!

Heart Art Inspired

I was inspired to draw and paint tonight after I watched Willow's free Art, Heart, Healing video. You can view it here: http://willowing.ning.com/group/theheartofart

Colourful mix

My usage of
lime green, sky blue and pink really
enhance "spring fever" in my drawings.
Funny how the various seasons influence my
choice in colour pallet.

My favourite medium of late; watercolour pencils.
Along with my extremely fine line perm markers.

Acco brand pencils (made in UK) are so wonderful. I couple them with
Staedtler pencil (made in Germany).

On a whim, I bought discounted markers from a local
art/crafts store. They were so marked down, I just
thought I could trash them if need be.
However, I have found these Martha Stewart brand
markers to be GREAT! With their .1mm tips, I love the
very fine line I am able to make.
I do have several Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph pens,
which have an array to nibs/tips I love.
But for the easy carefree use, these Martha Stewart
writing pens are delightful!

Well I'm off for now. To create more and enjoy this lovely holiday weekend.
Cheers~

Wee Blue Bird Inspiration...

Having finally found the parcels mailed to many moons ago AND
unexpectedly seeing the wee flirty blue bird upon leaving work (see previous post).
I've been inspired and motivated!

Life changes, losses and unexpected events can turn
a person inside out!
Happily, once the shock of this has subsided life resumes
a natural progression, happily.

Ephemeral works of art...

Here are a few photos from this year's Art Splash event.
Many hours spent on hand and knee, hunched over the street 'canvas' in
the hot sun.
Several of these creations are remarkable, a few are simply stunning!
Hope you enjoy the photos.

My Doodle Journal

I am a doodler!

What I enjoy most,
watching
(more like listening)
favourite movies
and doodling
the whole time!

Here are just a
few pictures
of my most recent
movie time doodles.
