especially since I know

Red and White

I used my holiday baking twine to
wrap up a package
and left it sitting on my printer
so naturally I grabbed my crochet hook
and made a flower…naturally!

It's sorta a thing I do

OH and the other silly thing I did
was sit in the sun/pool for two hours
and I BURNED
OUCH
Now I'm pleased that I was able to go in pool
for the first time since surgery
but I'm not pleased about the painful
sunburn

Talk Like A Pirate Day

Ahoy Matey's
Today is Talk Like a Pirate Day...
and while this is a delightfully fun event,
we decided to dress like pirates in celebration
of not just 'talk like a pirate day'
but because...

at our local Krispy Kreme store was giving away donuts!
Anyone who came in dressed like a pirate
received a dozen donuts for free!

My matey seems to be enjoying his golden treasure!
