Purple shawl finished!

My daughter was kind
enough, though reluctant, to model my shawl.
She expressed visions of her Nana wearing shawls.
Exclaiming "I'm too young to wear a 'Nana shawl'.

Made from a really soft acrylic yarn.
(trying to work through the heap of acrylic
yarns I inherited from my late Mum).

I discovered that I had no purple outer softie wear,
to go with my favorite purple skirt.

Usually this knit up is a fast one, however,
I kept setting it aside and picking up
jewelry projects, sewing projects and sketching.

Happy that it's complete, just in time
for the weekend. Although, here in
Southern California, we are having a warm
spell (again).

it totally looks snuggly & you can tell your daughter she looks hip and not even an iota Nana-ish. :)

I love how thick and plush it is. That color is rich too.

Thanks, my daughter is funny.
Comedian at times.
After the pics, she took it off, then later I caught her with it on, saying "its so soft Mum".

Your shawl is soooo beautiful. It's just simply & wonderfully delightful. It conjures up images of back yard fires in the summer. I am so longing for Summer...an you tell? Hope you're havin' a great weekend! Catch a sunbeam for me!
