Recycled Creation

One of my older dolls that
I made many years ago...

I loved making this wee doll!

Odd Doll in Cup

Every time I go to the local
quilt shop, I see this
doll...

and I think,
she looks easy to construct...

I go off thinking that
I should make one myself...

so I make a mental note to do so...

but somehow I am always
distracted with so many other
things to do instead...

Happily, I'm distracted mind you,
however...

this really is just a silly doll in a cup
and I must make one...

someday!

Nearly Finished...

Next I will add facial features and hair.

Maybe I'll add socks and shoes.

And maybe something to hold on to...?

Hand Sewing

I needed to do some hand sewing to help reduce a bit of stress.

So I gathered up a small collection of scrap material, recycled clothes, recycled quilt batting...

I'm always surprised by the small amount of material it takes to create wee softies.

Under the Sea swap...

What a lovely Mermaid I received in the mail from the Under the Sea swap I was in.
Just wanted to quickly post a photo of her.
I'll add more later tonight.
Isn't she just fantastic!!!!!
